far° gives presentations in schools, on the primary and secondary levels, but also in professional schools. It wishes to offer the students an opportunity to approach the performing arts through experimenting. Theses actions translate into workshops, discussions or into the presence of an invited artist to present their work and lead a work process during visual arts classes. This has notably been the case for several years at the Gymnase de Nyon, where choreographers YoungSoon Cho Jaquet, Nicole Seiler, Gregory Stauffer, director François Gremaud, visual artist and curator Chloé Démétriadès, director and choreographer Adina Secretan, photographer-performer Loan Nguyen and in 2019-2021 the artist Thierry Boutonnier have taken turns.. These invitations can lead to concrete projects at times, but are mainly meant to highlight artistic forms that are usually rarely discussed during class. Simultaneously, the festival’s team wishes to give to students the opportunity to discover works of performing arts, by inviting them backstage during rehearsals. far° festival also invites them to its events and presents the festivals program in preview to them.
