Asked to create performance on de La Harpe’s island, Jonathan Capdevielle made the most of the space to create Spring Rolle. Although they did not know where they were going,the audience was taken to the island by boat, where they then attended a strange ceremony that combined current events with fragments of far-away memories. This photographic book revisits the content of the show as much as it presents the process and the context that gave rise to it.
