Strasse is an artists’ collective that develops in-situ projects using cinematic language as a filter to contemplate reality. In a piece of research full of affinities, Lotte van den Berg focuses on the porosity between reality and imagination. The public domain serves as the meeting point for these artists’ approaches. In The End, the audience follow a protocol that guides them through the city, directing their gaze by proposing to adopt specific points of view on individual scenes of daily life. The selection focuses on moments that correspond to endings, excerpts of ordinary life that, if they were part of a film, would play like the final scene before the credits. Like a documentary without a camera, The End questions each member of the audience: What does the end mean for you?
