Collective artistic project of Olivia Jaques, Marinka Limat, Chris Regn, Darren Roshier, Andrea Saemann et Martina-Sofie Wildberger in collaboration with far°.

Perf en bref borrows strategies from journalism in order to research on the – at times – undefinable practice of performance art. Every afternoon, the collective invites curators, theoreticians and artists to participate in three one-hour-long interviews which the public can attend. The aim of these interviews is to understand how performance art is perceived, understood, programmed and supported. The Perf en bref project is considered a performance itself. Each meeting provides an opportunity to address the very format of the interviews: What type of relationship is being created during the interview? What can we expect from research? How do artists share in their definition of performance art within their work? All the interviews will afterwards be freely available on ApresPerf.ch.
