duration : approx. 60'
Sketch of Togetherness explores encounters as an artistic practice, highlighting physical presence and alterity in interpersonal relationships. How do we encounter others? How do we dialogue, get involved in, or get moved by this encounter? Lea Moro’s new project is a series of performances dedicated to the dynamics that underlie the way we make acquaintances. For far°, two women of different backgrounds and generations spend a day together: Catherine Labouchère, a politician engaged in culture, social issues, education, and health among other fields, and choreographer and dancer Claire Dessimoz. How do they define themselves? What drives them on a daily basis? What relationship have they developed? On stage, they continue their conversation, with shared memories, video excerpts and soundbites of their first encounter at their disposal.
