For forty years, far° has been promoting its activities in the town of Nyon and the surrounding region, while forging close local, regional, French-speaking and national partnerships specific to the projects carried out throughout the year and during the festival.

These partnerships have further strengthened far°’s local roots and given it a reputation beyond its regional and national borders. As a result, the festival takes place in a number of venues in and around Nyon, both indoor and outdoor, and the performing arts factory also leaves its comfort zone to investigate other spaces, venues and universes. A vast network of contacts has been set up to provide the best possible support for the work of artists and cultural participation projects.

In particular, far° develops and maintains links with a wide variety of cultural structures in the world of the performing arts. It is a member of AVDC – Association vaudoise de danse contemporaine, RESO – réseau danse suisse, FRAS – Fédération romande des arts de la scène, and Premio – le prix Suisse d’encouragement pour les arts de la scène.

Locally, far° is part of Nyon Ville de Festivals, which brings together Paléo Festival Nyon, Caribana Festival, Visions du Réel – Festival International de cinéma, les Hivernales and Rive Jazzy, together with Nyon Région Tourisme and the City of Nyon.
