...en chanté is a meeting with singing and music with towns twinned with the Nyon Region and the inhabitants of twinned communes.
Since the beginning of …en jumelle – a project for twinned towns and landscapes – in autumn 2019, we have created seven dance projects in the Nyon district, presented during the far° festival in summer or on other occasions. In most of them, one or more songs were written, to put into words the knowledge we were discovering on site and to work with local bands or choirs.
As this wonderful series of …en jumelle in Nyon comes to an end this summer, we would like, as a last artistic gesture, to invite audiences to a listening score created in situ for the terrace of the Salle Communale in Nyon. Sitting on different chairs placed in such a way as to offer specific viewpoints on the surrounding landscape, you will be able to listen to these songs and to imagine a “twinned world” with regard to the different artistic approaches that we enjoyed working with in these welcoming places.
