Watch & Talk aims to open up a stimulating discursive space to encourage art-related exchanges, dynamic artistic research and collective creative reflection throughout the far° festival during the summer in Nyon. This year, six young emerging artists from Switzerland and abroad are invited to immerse themselves in the artistic projects presented during the festival, where they are encouraged to discuss the works, share and reflect on their own practice. No results are expected, so the residency is a time entirely devoted to enriching the participants' artistic research while forging new relationships. The format is deliberately left open-ended to accommodate the different desires of the participants. Residents also benefit from a special relationship with the guest artists, who introduce them to their work and creative process.
In 2023, the residency will be accompanied by playwright and curator Silja Gruner.
