With this new creation, originally titled F.O.B.O. – Fear of Better Options, Compagnie Fluctus continues its exploration of contemporary identity.

In a hyperconnected present, dominated by endless possibilities, speed, individualism, and the constant pursuit of the best possible choice, two characters, suspended between risk and caution, search for their place beside one another.
Fascinated by the question of choice and the new neuroses it generates — such as FOBO (Fear of Better Options, the fear of missing out on a better option) — as well as by the way the obsession with making the perfect decision can transform into a labyrinth with no way out, the authors focus on a choice that remains deeply in our hands while constantly seeming to escape us: the choice to care for the relationships that surround us. And so: Be CareFull.

Longtime friends, siblings, lovers, adversaries? Perhaps all of these at once. The two protagonists move through an absurd universe, under the audience’s gaze, surrounded by wheeled objects that make every balance unstable. A mobility scooter for elderly people travels through space and time. Between determination and surrender, they confront it. They climb onto it, change its direction and speed, chase one another, pull and drag each other, challenge and support one another, without ever truly choosing to stop it, except (perhaps) in an emergency.

Never entirely certain that they are in the right place at the right time, they move through each doubt while holding on to a single certainty: that they are beside the right person.

With delicacy, humour, and a growing theatrical madness, Be CareFull is a poetic exploration of the fragility of human relationships and an invitation to choose, every day, to take care of them.
