With this new creation, Compagnie Fluctus continues its exploration of contemporary identity, this time questioning the relationship between freedom, responsibility and emotional fragility. Drawing on the concept of “FOBO” (Fear of Better Options), the two artists investigate the notion of choice and the difficulty of defining oneself in a world saturated with possibilities.
F.O.B.O. tells the story of two uncertain bodies caught between frenzy and surrender, clinging to one another before letting go, dragging and being dragged, in search of new forms of collaboration, trust, presence and connection to reality. A work of physical theatre that is at once performative and ironic.
