La Matri (the mother) and her Figghia (her daughter) form a duo deeply shaped by their Sicilian roots. Witnesses, despite themselves, to the transformation of this once-paradisiacal land into a territory marked by crossings, exchanges and imperial occupations, they have chosen to carry forward their shared story through music.
