Watch & Talk
Watch & Talk is being developed in collaboration with the following four Swiss festivals: La Bâtie-Festival in Geneva, Belluard Bollwerk in Fribourg, Theaterfestival Basel and Zürcher Theater Spektakel. Watch & Talk is supported by Pro Helvetia – Swiss Arts Council
The Watch & Talk festival residency welcomes a group of six emerging artists from the Swiss and international performing arts scene. Over the course of the festival, they immerse themselves in the programme to reflect on the works presented and deepen their own artistic practices. Hailing from Chile, the United States, Lebanon, Palestine and Switzerland, these artists meet during the festival to confront perspectives, share sensibilities, build connections and engage in a transdisciplinary dialogue. In 2026, the group will be accompanied by Maria Da Silva, a Geneva-based transdisciplinary artist, playwriter and researcher.
